Abstract

In review analyzed application magnetic resonance tomography (MRI) as tool forecasting at encephalitis in children. Based on from data modern literature, it is shown that This application possible and advisable, but depends from modalities techniques - structural or multiparametric MRI. Information about prognostic values data structural MRI varies from person-to-person authors and depend from etiology and period inflammatory process. In recent years in practice wide are being implemented techniques multiparametric MRI (diffusion-weighted images, DWI; diffusion tensor images, DTI; MR spectroscopy, MRS) and contrast studies, application which as tool prognosis in pediatric practice, according to a number of messages, more effective in this role So way, application techniques multiparametric MRI is promising and justified as a data addition structural MRI for prognosis in children with encephalitis.
