This article highlights modern approaches to the assessment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) using ultrasound diagnostics. PCOS is one of the most common endocrine disorders in women of reproductive age and is characterized by hormonal imbalance, anovulation, and structural changes in the ovaries.
